01Your choices at a glance
You are in control of your information. This page brings the main controls together in one place. It works alongside my Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
| Choice | What it covers | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies and tracking | Analytics and advertising cookies. Essential cookies stay on so the site stays secure. | Decline or change your choice in the cookie banner where one is shown, or use your browser settings. See below. |
| Do Not Sell or Share | Stops your data being sold, or shared for advertising across other sites. | Decline advertising cookies, turn on Global Privacy Control, or email me. See below. |
| Marketing messages | Emails or messages from me about my services. | Use the unsubscribe link, reply STOP, or email me. See below. |
| Access, correct or delete | A copy of your information, a fix for anything wrong, or deletion. | Email contact@citymarketing.net. See below. |
| Sensitive information | Limiting how sensitive personal information is used. | I do not knowingly collect it. See below. |
02Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies keep the site secure and working, so they are always on. Analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel, are only used with your consent where the law requires it. Saying no does not limit what you can see or do on the site, and it does not stop you contacting me.
- On this site: where a cookie banner is shown, you can accept, decline or change your choice at any time.
- In your browser: block or delete cookies in your settings. Clearing site data also resets any choice you made earlier.
- Analytics: install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Advertising: manage Meta ads in your ad preferences, or use optout.aboutads.info (US), youradchoices.ca (Canada) or youronlinechoices.com (UK and EU).
The full list of cookies, what each does and how long it lasts is in my Cookie Policy.
03Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting that tells every website you visit not to sell or share your personal information. Where the law requires it, I treat a GPC signal as an opt-out of sale or sharing for that browser, and I will not switch on advertising cookies for it.
Several browsers, including Brave, DuckDuckGo and Firefox, support GPC, and extensions can add it to others. The setting applies to the browser where you turn it on, so repeat it on each device you use. To opt out for your email address as well, just email me.
04Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
I do not sell your personal information for money, and I do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
If you accept advertising cookies such as the Meta Pixel, some laws may treat that as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, or as a “sale”. You can opt out at any time:
- Decline advertising cookies, or block them in your browser.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control.
- Email contact@citymarketing.net with the subject Opt out of sale or sharing.
You do not need an account, you do not need to prove who you are and there is no fee. I will act on your opt-out as soon as I can, and within 15 business days at the latest. I will not ask you to change your mind for at least 12 months.
05Sensitive personal information
I do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through this website, such as health details, government ID numbers or payment card numbers. I do not use any such information to infer characteristics about you. Because of this, there is no separate “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” control to switch on.
If you sent something sensitive by mistake, email me and I will delete it.
06Marketing emails and messages
I only send marketing emails or messages if you have agreed or the law otherwise allows it. Replying to your enquiry is not marketing. You can stop marketing at any time:
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any message, or email me and ask me to stop.
- WhatsApp, text or other messages: reply STOP, or tell me you want no more messages.
- Canada: you can withdraw your consent at any time, as CASL allows.
I will stop within 10 business days at the latest, and usually much sooner. I keep your address on a short do-not-contact list so you are not added again by mistake. That list is a record, not marketing. If you become a client, I may still send service messages such as invoices and project updates.
07How to make a request
You can ask to see what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how it is used. Email contact@citymarketing.net with the subject Privacy request, or message me on WhatsApp at +92 300 4084004.
- Tell me what you want and the email address or phone number you used when you contacted me.
- Confirming it is you. I may ask a few questions to check. I will only ask for what I need, and I will not ask for ID documents unless there is no other reasonable way.
- My reply. I will respond within the time the law allows: about one month in the UK and EU, 30 days in Canada and 45 days in many US states. If the law lets me extend that time, I will tell you why.
- Cost. There is normally no charge. If a request is clearly unfounded or excessive, I may charge a reasonable fee or decline, and I will explain.
Someone acting for you. You can ask an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. I may ask for your written permission or other proof of their authority.
If I cannot do everything. I may need to keep some information the law requires me to hold, such as invoices and tax records. I will tell you what I kept and why. If I say no, in whole or in part, I will explain my reasons. Where your state gives you a right to appeal, reply to my decision with the word Appeal and I will review it again and answer within the time your state’s law requires. You may also contact your state attorney general.
I will never treat you unfairly for using any of these choices.
